The TUNRA Emulsifier has been developed so that a stable emulsion can be formed using no mechanical mixing. Using an emulsified collector or frother within a flotation cell dramatically increases the dispersal rate of the reagent. This decreases the time it takes for the collector to coat the surface of the coal particle. This in turn decreases the resonance time within the flotation cell and hence the efficiency of the cell increases.
